To Introduce myself I am the Owner, Director and primary instructor of the Las Vegas School of Floral Design. I started this school because I had the desire to improve the quality in the floral industry. My back ground stems back over 23 years to when I first sought employment in the flower shop. Since then, I have graduated from college with a background of Architecture, Horticulture, Art and Psychology. Also, I am well versed in public relations.

From the beginning, my being a delivery driver working all the way up to the teacher level, has given me a vast amount of information on many levels. My experience includes obtaining a Masters Certificate from FTD and AIFD, placing in top ten competitions, attending schools in floral design taught by Dutch and Japanese Masters, designed a flower shop and set up a floral service, managed many shops and taught floral design.

Coming from the land of the flower growers, my flower purchasing ability and knowledge of flowers from around the world will give the class access to unusual flowers and diverse flower products. These experiences give me the desire to continue in my efforts to make this the best school in the country.

Las Vegas is a unique town with lots of new ideas, a mass amount of creativity and diversity and the demand for professionalism. Our classes offer innovated and up to date techniques geared towards not only the flower shop, but show business and the hotel business. Students can learn how to design props, large production pieces and interior decorating for the forever growing town. Not only can you learn the fundamentals of floral design but you will feel the magic, glitz and glamour of Las Vegas in these classes.
